Up in the Tree

There are certain things I equate with summer. Grilling, boating, swimming... and tree climbing. With our new home - there are many trees to climb. The boys have the world at their fingertips - or at least the trees. I bought them a rope ladder to get them up to the first branch a little easier. Charlie really explores. Lewis - has his confidence and feels good on the first set of branches.
It's great to see them spread their wings.

Tree Huggers

A great time was had by all in Florida. Warm hugs made the warm sunshine feel even better.

Charlie & Lewis spent what seemed like hours climbing the tree in Mimi & Pop Pop's front yard. By the time we left - they were expert climbers. Hardly using the chair to start their ascent.

It was the ending of Catholic Schools Week. Quite an array of talent on display.



Santa brought Charlie the drumset for Christmas - so he's been playing all of 34 days.



I'd say he's got a good teacher.

For an 8 year old - we're pretty amazed.
